Hiya! I’m Jessica.
I most love doing data-driven work at the intersection of technology and public wellbeing.
Currently, I’m an NYC-based Machine Learning Engineer at Flatiron Health.
I recently obtained my master’s in Health Data Science at Harvard. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Yale in 2018, where I double majored in Statistics and Data Science (S&DS) and Sociology.
In between degrees, I was a Data Scientist at Mathematica, where I developed and implemented analytics to assess national public policies and improve federal programs. These modeling and visualization solutions addressed policy questions for clients at the federal government, as well as international and state-level stakeholders.
I’m a big believer that effective technical communication elevates insights to action. As a data scientist, I’ve given over a dozen client presentations, led tens of roundtable sessions, and co-authored a dozen client reports that have culminated into legislative action.
When I’m not immersed in code, you can find me hiking, taking travel photographs, and doing digital art with Photoshop.
